RIP Michael Jackson (1958-2009)

It's truly a sad day in the world. The death of Michael Jackson has come sooner than expected and maybe perhaps we are misunderstood.

At first we didn’t understand why. It was very unexpected. But there were a lot of unexpected things that happened in his life. He never expected to be the icon that he was. He never expected to sell the amount of albums that he did and he never expected to have such a big impact and change the world the way he did.

We can learn a lot from him. Remove all expectation and carry the gift of discernment with you. Find understanding in one another and in your life. It says in the Bible that "The meek shall inherit the earth" religious or not, it's the truth. Its not a coincidence that a man so humble, understanding, caring, and kind is the most loved man in the world.

MJ was an expression of love. He did the things that a lot of us are scared to do...but he did it with love and faith in us as human beings that as a race, we can recondition ourselves to see the love in one another and realize that we all are doing our best to be the best we can be, to be right, to be COOL.

When you have people that love you, it’s hard to hate. If you love somebody, let them know because a lot of people are living with hatred. Do onto others as you would like for them to do on to you and ride on faith in the fact that you've done your part, to the best of your ability. We will all fall short of the glory of GOD but, remember, "God created no man or woman to be perfect, but all men and women equally"

This JUST BE COOL. campaign is not about being right or wrong. It’s about being you and understanding others by understanding yourself first.

Please, stay positive through all the negativity in the world. Find understanding in one another and be an example of PEACE, UNITY, and PROGRESS

The Definition of COOL: To keep a POSITIVE attitude about LIFE and a WORLD of PEACE, UNITY, AND PROGRESS...Please, Be COOL.

RIP MICHAEL JACKSON

DOM KENNEDY Releases An Instant Classic!!

DOM. KENNEDY: FutureStreet/DrugSounds

DOWNLOAD FS/DS HERE FOR FREE

DOM. KENNEDY is the epitome of COOL. Native to Leimert Park, California, he exudes the essence of a smooth emcee with a cool bravado cadence and such crafty wordplay. Dom released his debut mix tape, entitled "25th Hour," in the Spring of 2008 and has received wide scale recognition and a measurable buzz since then. With the smash-hit single, "Watermelon Sundae," along with accompanying video, Dom was able to gain more exposure through web blogs, websites and the booming West Coast rap scene. In December 2008, Dom was interviewed by Vibe for their "New West" article to spread the word about Dom Kennedy along with the long list of extremely talented artists coming out of California, specifically the city of Los Angeles.

With his sophomore release, Dom Kennedy's "FutureStreet/DrugSounds" is already becoming the talk of the town, musically. With exceptional production from the likes of Chuck Inglish (Cool Kids), J Skillz, Ski Team, L.A.U.S.D, Brandun DeShay, Drew Byrd, etc., "FutureStreet/DrugSounds" is an album that is definitely worth listening to. You can expect a wide-range of diverse subject matters on the songs displayed on FS/DS. At such an early point in Dom Kennedy's career, "FutureStreet/DrugSounds" is an excellent introduction to most and a perfect reminder to others that Dom Kennedy is a name to be remembered and recognized.
