COOL MUSIC MONDAY: United State of Pop w/DJ Earthworm

2009 was a great year for music but, 2010 is here and everyone is doing their '09 wrap ups. A lot of original music is coming out and separating the real from the fake and the one hitters from those with more longevity. I've been realizing that a lot of musicians who put their truest self on a record end up hanging around a little longer.

This is a good time to reflect on more than just the music you've been listening to but reflect on what you have put out into the universe yourself. Has it really been you or have you been delivering what the people want to hear/see. Just know whatever you put out is what you will get back. If you don't like the results you might want to take this time of rebirth to re-evaluate your approach. Make sure you are doing you and not giving in to the "pop-standards" that are flooding the media outlets. Like Uncle Rush says, DO YOU!!
